- In Microsoft Word when you type a signature line and press enter the Microsoft application completes a border line which often proves difficult to remove. This happens because the app “thinks” this is what you want and completes a second action on your behalf.
The solution: Do one undo action immediately and then continue with your document. - In Microsoft Word when you type in small letters cc for courtesy copy at the beginning of a new line, pressing the enter key changes the first small letter c to a capital letter C. This is incorrect and should be cc (two small letter c’s). This happens because the app setting is to Capitalize first letter of a sentence.
The solution: Do one undo action immediately and then continue with your document. - Dragging across an entire paragraph to select is great, however there is a tendency to not only select the paragraph but the selection drags way past. A time waster.
Solution: Position your cursor anywhere in the paragraph text then make three rapid clicks. - You can move the cursor to the location where it was when you last saved the document.
Solution: On the keyboard press and hold the shift key and tap the combination F5 key at the top of the keyboard above the numbers/symbols – Shift + F5. - You can quickly increase or decrease the text size using the keyboard. This is a time saver instead of stopping to use the mouse.
Solution: To increase the text size select the text, press the Ctrl + Shift + > combination, to decrease the text size select the text press the Ctrl + Shift + < combination. - Type these three everyday Symbols in MS Word
Solution: For each of the following type an open round bracket R close round bracket, then press enter. The same applies except change the alpha character
